- It is the Client's responsibility to provide all necessary
items for the duration of the pet care, including as appropriate
but not limited to: food (wet, dry or both), treats, litter,
disposal bags, medicines and collar.
- Medication, if required, will be administered by mixing crushed tablets or liquid into your pet's food and not directly into their mouth.
- If the client is away for longer than expected or has not
provided sufficient supplies, the carer will buy what is
required to ensure your pet's care is fully accommodated.
Receipts will be submitted for a refund and any additional care
visits will be invoiced accordingly.
- All pets under the supervision of Pet my Pet must be
suitably treated for fleas and worms.
- All matters of concern regarding the pet's behaviour must be
noted during consultation. Failure to do so may result in
additional charges and/or cutting short of service provision.
- It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that the key(s)
and entry instructions issued to Pet my Pet work correctly and
that no undocumented bolts, locks or alarms are in use that will
prevent entry. Any additional costs incurred to gain entry will
be borne by the Client.
- Emergency contact details for your Veterinary Practice must
be provided. In the event of an emergency, I will seek advice /
treatment in the following order:

If I am unable to reach you, I will contact your Veterinary Practice.

If your Veterinary Practice is closed / out of hours / not responding then I will contact the Woodcroft Veterinary Hospital (in Cheadle) which provides a 24 hour emergency service.
- Please be aware that a vet visit will only be possible if I am able to get your pet into the carrier.
- Additional costs incurred for consultation or treatment at any Veterinary Practice will be borne by the Client, plus a service charge of £45 per hour for care and transportation.
- Pet my Pet will make every effort to ensure your pet(s) and home are well cared for during your absence but cannot be held liable for any accidents, injury, loss or death to a pet inside or outside of the house whilst in my care.
- Every effort will be made to reach your home at the agreed
time of day, however due to unforeseen problems such as road
congestion / weather conditions the time may vary slightly.
- Pet my Pet may take a trusted friend or family member to
your home. This is a precautionary measure with the intention of
providing continued cover in the event that I am unable to due
to illness or serious injury.
- Cancellations - In the event of a cancellation of any part of the booking a cancellation fee will be payable as follows:
- More than 3 weeks before commencement of service - no charge
- Between 1 and 3 weeks before commencement of service - 50% payable
- Less than 7 days before commencement of service - 100% payable

Please pay by bank transfer 3-4 days prior to your
departure date - I will provide my bank details on
invoicing. Alternatively, cash can be left at your home in a designated area
for collection on my first visit.
